Authorized Drivers

Only the person(s) listed in the rental agreement and delivery form are allowed to drive the rented vehicle.

If the vehicle is driven by a third party who is not listed in these documents, all insurance coverage will become invalid, and the renter will be responsible for any damage that may occur.

Additional drivers can be added by contacting our branches. A maximum of 2 additional drivers can be registered per vehicle.

Age and driving license requirements that apply to the vehicle group also apply to additional drivers.

Vehicle Pick-Up Requirements

To collect the reserved vehicle, you must present the following documents at the time of delivery:

A valid driver’s license issued by the Republic of Türkiye (for Turkish citizens)

A credit card in the renter’s name (two credit cards may be required for certain vehicle groups)

A utility bill registered in your name confirming your residential address (telecom, electricity, water, etc.)

For foreign nationals or Turkish citizens living abroad, the following are required:

A valid driver's license

Original passport showing entry to Türkiye

Entry stamp to Türkiye within the last 6 months prior to the end of the rental period

A credit card issued in the same country

Payment Security

WindyCar branches use secure payment systems approved by partner banks, supported by 3-D Secure authentication and the banks’ electronic commerce V-POS infrastructure.

Therefore, the credit card used for the rental must be enabled for online transactions.

If the required documents are not presented at the time of vehicle delivery, the vehicle will not be handed over even if a reservation exists, and no refund will be issued according to cancellation policies.

Fuel Policy

The vehicle must be returned with the same fuel level as it was delivered.

If returned with less fuel, the missing fuel cost plus a service fee will be charged.

No refund will be given for extra fuel.

Returning the Vehicle to a Different Location

You may return the vehicle to a different branch than the one where it was rented.

In this case, a one-way rental fee will be charged.

Cross-Border Use

Vehicles may only be used within the borders of Türkiye.

Taking the vehicle abroad is strictly prohibited.

Rental Duration

Vehicles are rented with a minimum duration of 24 hours for daily rentals and 30 days for monthly rentals.

Rental Extension

If you wish to extend the rental period beyond the date specified in the agreement, you must contact our branches to request an extension.

If the vehicle is returned late without prior extension approval, a 100% surcharge on the delay fee will be applied.

Early Return

If you wish to return the vehicle earlier than the agreed return date, you must contact our branches.

Early returns may result in deductions according to reservation cancellation and modification policies.

No-Show Policy

Reserved vehicles are held at the branch for 60 minutes after the scheduled pickup time.

If the vehicle is not collected within this period:

Vehicle availability cannot be guaranteed.

If you expect to arrive late, please contact our branch and complete your payment to secure the reservation.

Reservations marked as No-Show will be automatically cancelled after 4 hours, even if payment has been made, without refund.

Insurance Coverage

Insurance coverage may vary depending on pricing plans and promotions.

All vehicles are protected with comprehensive insurance coverage.

Optional additional protection packages include:

Tire, Glass & Mirror Protection

Covers repair of one tire, one window, or one mirror damage that is not included in standard insurance.

Mini Practical Damage Protection

Covers single-party damage up to 5,000 TL with declaration

Includes coverage for one tire/glass/mirror damage

Maxi Practical Damage Protection

Covers single-party damage up to 10,000 TL

Includes tire/glass/mirror damage

Includes IMM and Personal Accident Insurance

Ultra Practical Protection Package

Covers single-party damage up to 15,000 TL

Includes tire/glass/mirror damage

Includes IMM and Personal Accident Insurance

Important Notice for Accidents

In the event of an accident, do not move the vehicle from the scene.

To keep insurance coverage valid, you must:

Contact traffic police or gendarmerie

Obtain an official accident report

Obtain an alcohol test report

For accidents involving only property damage and multiple vehicles, drivers may fill out a Mutual Traffic Accident Report if they agree on the circumstances of the accident.

Vehicle Theft

In case of theft:

Report the incident to the police

Obtain a theft report

Deliver the vehicle key along with the report to our office

Age and Driver’s License Requirements

Minimum age and driver’s license requirements vary depending on the vehicle group and are displayed on the reservation page.

Ensuring these requirements are met is the renter’s responsibility.

Mileage Limits

Daily and monthly mileage limits depend on the vehicle group and are shown on the reservation page.

Mileage exceeding the limit will be charged per kilometer:

Economy segment: 3.00 TL/km

Mid segment: 4.00 TL/km

Upper segment: 4.50 TL/km

Premium segment: 6.00 TL/km

For daily rentals, the maximum mileage per agreement equals the monthly mileage limit of the relevant vehicle group.

Extra 1000 km Package

Optional extra mileage packages:

Economy Segment: 30€ (TL equivalent)

Mid Segment: 40€ (TL equivalent)

Upper Segment: 50€ (TL equivalent)

Security Deposit

In addition to the rental fee, a security deposit determined by the vehicle group will be blocked or charged to your credit card.

The deposit amount may vary depending on your Findeks credit score and financial status at the time of rental.

If the vehicle is returned without damage and in full condition, the deposit will be refunded to your credit card within 7 days.

A credit card in the renter’s name is mandatory for the rental.

In such cases, reservation fees will not be refunded.

Reservation Cancellation & Changes

Early Reservation Campaigns

Only the rental start date/time can be shortened toward the end date.

No refunds are provided.

Prepaid Reservations

For prepaid reservations:

Vehicle group changes may be allowed

Some changes may cause price differences

If cancelled 48 hours or more before the rental start, the full rental amount will be refunded.

If cancelled less than 48 hours before pickup, no refund will be issued.

Pay-Later Reservations

No cancellation or change fee is applied.

However, modifications may cause price differences.

Refunds for paid reservations will be issued within 1 month after the cancellation date for security reasons.

Important Notice

If a prepaid reservation is made without meeting the required conditions (age, driver’s license, credit card, etc.), the cancellation policies above will still apply.

If this is detected at the time of vehicle delivery, it will be considered a last-minute cancellation, and no refund will be issued.
